    Right-click (two-finger tap) on a Recents row now opens a book menu: Open, Rename…, Show in Folder, Hide from Recents / Unhide, and Delete (with confirmation). The generic spelling/edit popup no longer appears over recents rows.

    New: Hide recents. Each row in the Recents list now has a Hide button — list-only, the book folder on disk is never touched. Hidden books collapse into a 'Hidden (n)' disclosure you can expand to Unhide; simply opening a book again also brings it back. Hidden books drop out of File > Open Recent.

    Updater hardening: update downloads are now retried, byte-count checked, and gunzip-verified before install. Truncated/corrupt downloads abort with a visible error instead of silently keeping the old version.
