Folio

A simple, local, open-source desktop writing app for organizing a book.

  • Fully offline — no cloud, no accounts, no telemetry.
  • Your folders — each book lives in a folder you choose; chapters are plain Markdown.
  • Drag-and-drop reordering of chapters.
  • Light & dark themes that follow the system.

Developing

npm install
npm run dev     # starts esbuild watch + Electron
