Knowledge vault (Orion/PARA) migrated from the pre-Orion 484vault on 2026-10-01. Deliberately orphaned: prior history contained a plaintext password and stays local-only on branch archive/pre-boilerplate-history. Secrets and live Hermes state are gitignored.

# Open questions
|
|
|
|
**The register of decisions nobody has made yet.** Numbered, never renumbered — a closed question keeps its number. Items arrive here from `orion-lint` (a finding carried two cycles) and `orion-cascade` (a warning carried two runs). Each is written as a forced binary:

1. **Legacy `00-` agent-protocol files** (`START-HERE.md`, `Current State.md`, `Hermes Operating Manual.md`, `Hermes Vault Prompt.md`) — fence them (keep on disk, out of vault) / archive them to `5. Archive/`. They reference an older `00-HERMES/` protocol; `Current State.md` is stale (2026-09-04). Raised 2026-10-01.

2. **`08-TEMPLATES/` (Meeting Notes, Startup Prompt)** — keep frozen as legacy / fold Meeting Notes into `6. Templates/` with a contract. Raised 2026-10-01.
|
|
3. **"Poly Investment Meeting 6-22-26 Readout"** — Lab 484 knowledge (inferred from filename) / belongs elsewhere. Moved to Lab 484 by inference; confirm or repoint. Raised 2026-10-01.
|
|
4. **Root strays** (`apps.jsonc`, `ThemEncoreSettings.json`, `system-reference-final.txt`, 10 `Pasted image *.png` referenced by the Boltcard knowledge note) — leave at root / move to an assets folder. Raised 2026-10-01.
|
|
5. **`bb44` password** — still a live credential anywhere (then rotate; it persists in pre-2026-10-01 git history + backup tarball) / already dead (nothing more to do). Raised 2026-10-01.
